Hi. I'm Steve. I live in Berkeley, CA. I'm a researcher and network engineer at Packet Clearing House, where I do research on how Internet networks connect to eachother in various parts of the world, as well as a lot of work on DNS infrastructure. When I'm not doing networking stuff, I do a lot of biking.
I probably spend too much time on airplanes, but they get me to some neat places. Here are some photographs. They are the only bit of this website that gets updated at all regularly.
Once upon a time, I had an actual homepage with lots of text. Copies of it may still exist somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Several years ago I replaced it with a bunch of links, promising to update it and turn it into something more substantial sometime soon. That hasn't happened yet. I make no promises that it ever will.
